The Holocaust was a horrible time in the World's history that is essential for all grades to learn about in school. Having the opportunity to read non-fiction novels, historical fiction novels, and viewing documentraies will give everyone a better understanding of what happened during this time period. The non-fiction novel, Suriving the Angel of Death is an account of one child's memories of the despair that happened to the Jewish race in Eurpoe during World War II. At the beginning of the novel, the child discusses all the happiness that her family had living in their village in Romania. Then, they are asked to pack up their their belonginngs, and leave. How would you react if this happened to your family? Describe the feeling of not knowing what would happen to you, your family, of the house that you were raised in as a young child.

I would cry is how i would react but i will also stay strong because this is something big you have to show no fear. I would cry every night for my friends, family, and house. I would have just left my whole life for being a Jew.

If this happened to my family I would be very scared and gloomy. If I didn't know what to do I would probably just leave my children somewhere where they will be safeand so they wouldn't go to Aushwitz.

Paco, A lot of families did just that, they sent their children to other families, Catholic convents, and relatives in other countries. What if there was no time, then what would you do?

At fist, i would freak out because the teenage nazi soldiers has real guns pointing at them. Then, I would ask my parents what was going on. The feeling of not knowing where what would happen to you would be horrible, but not knowing what would happen to your family would be a lot worse. Not knowing what would happen to your childhood house would also be bad, but not the worst.

If I was told to pack up and leave, I would react somewhat sad and scared because I would leave the comfort of my home and I wouldn't know where I was going or if I was in danger.I wouldn't know what was happening or if I would lose my family.

How i would react if this happen to my family I will cry beacause I admire my parents and they help me survive because they bring any needs that I need to survive and if I don"t have any needs that I need to survive and with out any parents , who will take care of you , who will love you , who will support you in different ways , who will buy you everything you need that it way I will cry if the Nazi"s took my parents and did something to them . I will feel worried because if they took my parents or someone close to me they are part of my freindship or family and i will be so much worried about them like I will think in my head are they dead are there dead are there dead and that is how i will feel about them if they are not there when I need them to be there
