Ellen and Annemarie's relationship is they are best friends. They do a lot of things together. The Rosen's are in trouble because they are Jewish, and the German soldiers are "relocating" all the Jewish people in Copenhagen. Annemarie's family need help because they are trying to save Ellen from being taken away by the German soldiers.

Annemarie and Ellen's relationship is that Annemarie is like a bodyguard to Ellen. Ellen trusts Annemarie even when she doesn't know where her parents are. Annemarie and Ellen are best friends. The Rosens are in trouble because the Nazis are looking for all the Jews in Denmark. Annemarie's family help their family by Ellen pretending to be Annemarie's sister and keeping Ellen's parents somewhere safe.

Annmarie and Ellen are best friends almost sisters that how close they are. I have a relationship like that to(Sophia). The Rosens are in trouble because they are Jews and Nazis want Jews so the Johansons are hiding Ellen and saying that she is there older dead daughter Lise and Peter, Lise's fiancé , is hideing Mr. and Mrs.Rosen.

I think a little of both because 1. You can't hide someone forever. And that little mouth that Kirsti has really wont get them any where. 2. The Germans might catch Peter because it might be hard to tell them that they are my parents because they prabobly don't look like him.

The relationship between Annemarie and Ellen is like a relationship i have with my dog. I've had her for 7 years and she is like my own daughter but to Annemarie and Ellen its more like sisters and Ellen isn't a dog. The Rosens family are in trouble because they are Jews. Annemaries family helps by hiding Ellen as their dead daughter Lise, and Ellens parents have been hid by Peter so they don't get caught either.

Yes, becaus Lise has black hair and one day the German Soldiers came and they notice Ellen has balck hair. So Mr.Johansen rip a picture they has Kirsit and Annemarinea and Lise. So the soldier grab the pictures and threw them on the ground and left.

The relationship between Annemarie and Ellen is they are like best friends.(it seems kinda like they are sisters).The Rosen's are in trouble because they are jews.So the Johansen's let Ellen come stay at their house for a while. But Ellen's parents were staying somewhere else.Then the soldiers came to the Johansen's house at four oclock in the moning wanting to know if the Johansen's were there.So then they searched around and they asked...why do u have to blond hair daughters and this one has dark hair? Then the mom showed a picture of Lise when she was a baby and then they ripped the picture in half.

Annemarie and Ellen are very good friends kind of like sisters. Mrs. Johansen and Mrs. Rosen are good friends as well. The Rosen's are in danger because they are Jewish and Germans are against Jews. The Johansen's helped because they let Ellen stay with them as Lise, Lise had brown hair when she was little so the Germans belived the Johansen's.
