My favorite poem is Maiden Savin' Sam. The poem type is Ballad.The author of this poem is Jenny Ellison. Maiden Savin' Sam is about a guy that would always save maidens from danger. But at the end he ends up dying from fighting to many bears. I like this poem because it was catchy and I like the way it sounds.

My favorite poem would have to be The Cremation of Sam McGee. One of the reasons the is my favorite is because Robert W. Service actually told the poem only once before writing it down and it is a great story. By the way why does everyone named sam die in these poems or ballads.

My favorite poem out of these three poems would be Maiden-Savin' Sam. The author of this poem is Jenny Ellison. I liked this poem because of its constant rhythm and rhymes. I liked how after every "verse" we had to read the chorus over again, like a real song. I also liked how Sam would save others lives, but later died fighting bears.

My favorite was the Dying Cowboy because it was not to long and had good ryhmes and a good rythm.

I chose the poem The Cremation of Sam McGee. Its type is Ballad, it also has rhythm assonance and rhyme in it. This poem is about a man who knows he is dieing and tells his good friend to promise that when he dies he will cremate him so his friend promises and when it comes time to cremate Sam he realizes that it is harder than he thought but knows he has to do it since he promised. I believe this poem means always keep your promise no matter how difficult it may be.The author of this poem is idk

My favorite poem was the Maiden-Savin Sam by Jenny Ellison. This balled is about a man who trys to stop a herd of buffalo. This poem tells me that you can't do everything, even with confidence.
