Throughout your education career at Central Catholic we have concentrated a great deal on Reading and Reading Success. There are a number of strategies to help you continue to read as you enter into high school and beyond. What strategies are there to become a life long reader? What advice to you give to the incoming sixth graders to have success with reading? How will you continue to read after Central Catholic

My favorite reading strategy is visualization. I enjoy picturing what is going on in my head so I can comprehend better. You also need to find books you like. I would tell the incoming sixth graders to ALWAYS review before they take a quiz. However, I will probably not read in high school unless it is a required book.

Some lifelong tips you could use to becomng a great reader would be, picture the book in your head, make sure you understand what you are reading and read often. To become a life long reader you must want to read. You must read daily and folow those tips and you will become a life long reader.

Some strategies that there are to become a life long reader is to read at home and read a lot of books. An advice I can give to the incoming sixth graders to have success with reading is that in your free times you should read because it will help you comprehend things better and give you a better understanding of things. I wil continue to read after Central Catholic by reading at home or going to the library.

Cuando lees un libro te lo puedes imaginar en tu mente y eso te ayuda a comprender mejor. Pues que sigan leyendo porque eso los va a ayudar en la escuela y en todos lados, la educacion es importante. Yo voy a seguir leyendo despues cuando este en la High School para seguir educandome y porque me gusta leer.

the strategies to become a life long reader are to read slowly and take your time with the words in the book, focus on what is ocurring in the story, and try to picture everything in your head as it is going on. The advice I give to the incoming sixth graders to have success with reading is to just try your best, and make sure you focus on everything there is to learn about reading because they are going to need to know everything. After Central Catholic I will still go to my high school's library and find books that I would like to read. Honestly, reading is going to be a habit of mine! :P

The strategies that I would use to become a life long reader is to read to enjoy a book, not for points, and to visulaze the book in my head. The advice that I would give ths Sixth graders is to read the books that you enjoy.

A great way strategy for being able to have success in reading would visualization, because it helps you imagine what the character might be doing based on the literature. For the upcoming six graders I will tell them to make sure understand completely the book. After Central Catholic I will put all the steps that I have learned in my reading.

My reading strategy is too visualize what is happening in the book while you are reading. Advice that i can give the on coming sixth graders to have sucess with reading is to understand what is happening in the book. I will continue to read after Central Catholic is i will put everything i have learned from Miss. Witka these past three years and use them next year.

I also like to picture the story in my head as one of my strategies. What have to say to the new sixth graders is just read it. But i will read for time to time I hope.
