Anne and Peter become close after living in hiding. Why do you think this happens? How is it possible to not no someone, be forced to live in hiding with them, and then start to have feelings for them? Describe why they are closer than the adults.

There are many times in history that we wish we could have talked to those who experienced the events. Anne Frank gave us a personnel account on what she was feeling in hiding during the Holocaust. If you could write to Anne what would you say? What types of questions would you ask her and why?

The Franks and Van Dans are living together in a tight place. They have some arguments and difficults getting along. Why do you think they are having difficulty? What would you do to get along with another family or your family members in such a horrible situation for example being quiet all day?
